This could be for several reasons.

• Discount codes cannot be used with any other offer. For example if you use a discount code you will not get free shipping as well.
• You do not meet the minimum criteria for the discount code. For example you have to spend $50 for the code to activate.
• The code has expired
• The code has been typed incorrectly.

We ship within Australia and some international locations. Currently we only ship to New Zealand and United Kingdom, Shipping will be quoted at checkout.

We currently ship within Australia and a select number of countries internationally. These countries are the United Kingdom, and New Zealand.

Please be aware that your country may charge you import tax. We suggest that you research this before placing your order. We cannot take any responsibility for ANY fees required by customs for any reason.

We ship internationally with Australia Post. Prices may vary depending on which Country your order is being shipped to.

Approximate delivery up to 4-15 business days. Note this is approximate only, and we cannot guarantee this timeframe.

Your tracking number will be emailed to the email address on your order. Please note if you don't enter an email address on your order you will not receive an order confirmation or tracking information. Keep an eye out for this email so you can track the progress of your order.

We cannot refund customers for delayed items, unfortunately delivery is out of our control and we still incur costs for having shipped the item.

We offer a flat discounted shipping rate of $9.95 for standard shipping, Australia wide and $14.50 for express shipping within Australia.

We currently only ship internationally to the United Kingdom, and New Zealand. Shipping will be quoted at checkout.

We offer complimentary gift wrapping just let us know when you checkout. Our gift wrap is Australian designed and printed. Is fully recyclable and environmentally sustainable.

All orders are sent via Australia post or a courier lead times will be dependant upon Australia post and courier lead times. As an approximate guide, this is 2-5 business days in the same state and 3-6 business days interstate.

We will deliver to the address you specify for delivery through the checkout process. Please can you make sure this is correct when placing your order. If it is not correct, the delivery or any replacement item may need to be covered by the buyer.

We will not accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered following your delivery instructions.

Faulty/ Damaged Items

If a book is damaged or faulty, as per Australian Law, we will replace it for you or provide you with a refund. Please contact as soon as you receive your order (within 7 days). Please send an image of the damaged book to info@becuriousbooks.com.au and we will process your order.

Change of Mind

If you change your mind on a book you can exchange it within 14 days. The book must be in pristine and saleable condition. It cannot be ‘read’. The cost of returning the book is at the expense of the buyer/purchaser. Be Curious Books will not pay for postage. The initial postage charge ($14.00 Australia wide) is also non refundable.
